Letter to "My dear professor" Henry, 1805 May 25.

Pierce asks if Henry has heard from the Admiral and inquires if he can supply quarters for Lovering. He describes the solemn review with torn flags and the drama of the pageant on nationalization. He was very pleased to see Humphreys was received by the people and concludes, "we thus carry him."
